Schedule a Teleconference Consultation

If you wish to consult with one of our experts, please schedule a day and time within the duration of your membership period. If there is a conflict with your requested appointment's time or date, someone will contact you immediately to arrange a different time. Upon scheduling, you will receive an email confirming your appointment and giving you a Patient Intake Form.

It is very important that you fill out the Patient Intake Form so that Dr. Fish or another member of the team can review what you and your parent's needs are, in preparation for your consultation.

Prior to the teleconference, it is important that you go around the house and collect every medicine that your parent has in their possession (including vitamins, minerals, and herbal supplements). Please make certain to have that bag of your parent's/relative's medicines and supplements for the appointment so Dr. Fish can go over it with you.

Resources

Reverse Parenting has gathered resources from all over the Elder Care Spectrum.  We offer  a library of videos for additional instruction on specific topics.  It also features helpful documents, which were written by our professional staff.  In addition to Medical Providers, we'll connect you with Elder Care Lawyers, Financial Advisors, and Social Workers. You will find audio and visual resources to help stimulate your parent's memory as well as exercises to help them maintain strength and agility in their bodies.

Caregiver Resources

These resources are to help keep you informed about new therapies, products and services that are available to your loved one.  This will enable you to be the best caregiver that you can.  We want you to be able to see the exercises for seniors, that can be used by your parent (if able) or yourself to reduce your stress levels.

Patient Resources

Dementia is a family of diseases that can rob a patient of their ability to function mentally. Different forms of dementia affect the brain in different ways, but all of them eventually result in loss of memory, ability to calculate, ability to form new memories, and loss of language.

Sometimes dementia patients ability to remember or speak can be stimulated by music, pictures, sounds, or smells. We have collected resources that might help your loved one to temporarily regain some memories or to speak.

If you look below, you will see that we have collected short movies and sound clips that might stimulate your loved ones’ brain, or at least brighten their mood. We have arranged them in ways that will allow you to select items that you think might appeal to you mom or dad.
